Carlo Maria was born in 1997. He earned his diploma in cello at the Como Conservatory in the class of Daniele Bogni and specialized with Nikolay Shugaev at the European Academy of Music in Erba. He approached early music under the guidance of Paolo Beschi, with whom he deepened his study on historical instruments. He is currently continuing his studies at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg in Marco Testori's class.

His passion for Sound in all its forms has always led him to research and experiment even with musical genres outside the "classical" world such as traditional music from different countries, blues and rock.

In 2018 he was among the featured speakers at the TEDxLakeComo event. 

He has collaborated with numerous orchestras including L'Accademia dell'Annunciata, Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco, La Lira d'Orfeo, Ensemble Cordevento

Carlo Maria has also shared the stage with renowned artists such as Paolo Beschi, Chiara Zanisi, Giulia Genini, Giovanni Sollima and Erik Bosgraaf
